Covina Appliance Service is seeking a well-qualified applicant to join our team of professionals. For over 50 years, we have provided in-home major appliance repairs for thousands of customers.
Successful applicant must be a team player, with a positive attitude, and great customer service skills. This is not an entry-level position; experience and proficiency required in in-home appliance repair. We will provide training on the service management software, forms, and procedures.
Minimum 5 years of in-home major appliance repair with high proficiency
Sealed system certification preferred but not mandatory
Experience on full line of appliances and on all major brands
Clean driving record
Must successfully pass a complete background check and drug test
Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills
Must be a team player, and be courteous and respectful to staff and customers
Deliver high-quality, honest, friendly, and professional service to all customers
Wear company uniform and maintain a clean, neat, professional appearance; also maintain truck inventory in a neat and organized manner, rotating stock as needed
Consistently observe all Federal and State laws, and company policies (including, but not limited to, safety protocols, and “conflict of interest” policies)
Assist staff with answering phones, appointment scheduling, parts research, and miscellaneous work-related duties as directed or as needed
Pay commensurate with skills and experience. Please provide salary history.
Mon. – Fri. 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., or as scheduled; normally closed Saturdays; closed Sundays
401k Plan, available after waiting period
Paid time off (PTO) available as earned during the year, after 90-day waiting period
Holidays observed: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Friday after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day

Technicians’ temperatures are checked every workday. NO EMPLOYEE having any symptoms is permitted to work either inside the office or in your home.
Technicians carry masks, gloves, and shoe covers to every appointment, along with disinfecting wipes.
Technicians maintain required 6-foot social distancing.
Technicians disinfect ALL work surfaces after repairs are done.
